The spring broke in our garage door. After a quick Google Search I found Five Star Door Service. Paul worked around my work schedule to come and quote, then fix my door. Due to the age of the doors, I had the springs in both doors replaced. I love that 5* rang the morning of my appointment to confirm and kept me informed of Paul's expected arrival time. Paul was very professional and a great bloke to deal with. I will certainly be keeping 5 stars number handy.

A massive thank you to Paul for coming out on a Sunday to help me fix my double door which I managed to completely de-rail on a tipical DIY attempt. Paul returned our message and was over within an hour, no nonsense, straight into the job, and it was running again within the hour. It’s good to deal with businesses that don’t pressure you, give you options and know their stuff. The whole repair including parts was cheaper than other company’s call out charges quoted over the phone. I had an emergency with my double garage door where the right side totally came off due to wear and tear. I was desperate and called a few services I saw in google as I wanted it fixed ASAP. Found 5* and glad I got to Julie who willingly fit me in their busy schedule. She sent Paul to the rescue. I was really impressed with the way Paul handled the job by himself. Very professional and gave great recommendations. Got a new motor as well and the garage door is almost as good as new - in a much better condition than when we purchased the house over 10 years ago. Highly recommend for all your garage door service and repairs. Especially If you're after quality workmanship, great service with honest fair prices. On a Saturday morning (Yes.... a weekend?), I made an initial enquiry and was greeting by Julie who was friendly, professional and got back to me right away for a follow up. An hour later from the initial call, Paul and Julie arrived and was ready to help. Within less than 10 seconds into the job, Paul identified the problem (Cable coil - Root cause and Broken hinges - The effects from the root cause) and was able to provide a breakdown on the cost and issues. After this I knew we were in good hands. During the repair, Paul walk me through the process of what issues were and how to fix the problem. I definitely learnt a lot during my short experience with Paul. The best part is that, Paul did not stop after fixing the issue, he triple checked and made sure everything was working. The garage door is now in much better condition than when we first bought the home AND also completed a quick service along with providing me with some maintenance tips for the future.
